are working to bring Education for All

Since 2016, we have been dedicated to helping children in less privileged areas get access to education.

Our main reason for being in a remote area of Zimbabwe is to assist children who have not had an opportunity to attend school. We want to show them the other side of the world—what God can do for them through other people.

Where we are

Selima Secondary School

Selima Secondary School serves rural areas who had no secondary education available. Many students walk hours daily to and from school in pursuit of education to create more life opportunities. Literacy Ministries' Mission, a non for profit 501(c), is to Transform Lives Through Christian Based Education in Zimbabwe.

Our Mission

We would like to provide Christian education to all Selima Secondary School students in Zimbabwe and equip them with life skills for further education, work, and service through sound teaching and learning.

Our Vision

To develop students who are truly salt and light, representing Jesus in the world. Many of the students had never seen electricity, running water, or a structured school before attending. We are working to change that by showing God’s love through education and opportunities.
